Subclass 802Child Visa
Permanent visa for dependent children of Australian citizens or PRs who are already in Australia.
Overview
The Subclass 802 Child Visa is the onshore equivalent of the 101. It allows dependent children of Australian citizens or permanent residents who are already in Australia to obtain permanent residence from within Australia.
Like the 101, the child must be under 18, or between 18–25 and a full-time student, or over 18 with a total and permanent incapacity. The child must be in Australia at the time of application.
F4MG assists families where the child is already in Australia on a temporary visa and needs to transition to permanent residence.
