Travel Visa Options
Australia offers several short-stay visa options for tourism and business visitors. Your eligibility for each visa depends on your passport. Many countries have access to the free eVisitor (651) or the ETA (601), but passport holders not eligible for either will need a standard Visitor Visa (600). Visitor Visa
The primary tourist and business visitor visa, available to most countries. Up to 12 months stay. Required if you are not eligible for the eVisitor or ETA.
eVisitor
Free electronic visa for eligible European and other passport holders. No stamp required. Multiple entries, 3 months per visit.
Electronic Travel Authority (ETA)
Electronic pre-approved visa for eligible passport holders including Singapore, USA, Canada, Japan, and South Korea. Small service charge applies.
Transit Visa
For passengers transiting through an Australian airport who require a visa. Airside transit only, up to 72 hours.
