The Direct Entry stream is for newly nominated workers who have not held a 457 or 482 visa with the nominating employer. The Temporary Residence Transition (TRT) stream is for workers who have held a 457 or 482 visa with the same employer for at least 3 years. Each stream has different requirements. F4MG determines which stream applies to your situation.

Yes. Your spouse or de facto partner and dependent children can be included as secondary applicants. Secondary applicants receive the same permanent residency as the primary applicant.

Generally, applicants must be under 45 years of age at the time of invitation. However, certain exemptions apply, particularly for the TRT stream where the age limit may not apply if you held a 457 or 482 visa before turning 45. F4MG advises on applicable age exemptions.

Skills assessments are required for most Direct Entry stream applicants but are generally not required for TRT stream applicants who have already been working in the occupation. Certain occupations and registration requirements may vary.
